Sec 44 - Photographer not a Terrorist

Photo Gathering Jan 2010 Originally uploaded by Morgyn Edwards So last Saturday I went to the Mass Photo Gathering in Trafalger Sq. About 2000 photographers turned up and it was very good natured and cheerful event. It was interesting to see so many people taking photos in one area of each other. It's funny to think about how much as a photographer myself I prefer to be behind the camera rather than in front of it, I know many other photographers like this too, but it seemed that no one minded having their photo taken here. People probably expected to have their photos taken as I'm sure is what happens when you throw 2000 photographers into a small area together raising awareness of an issue specifically for photographers. I'm very glad I went and although I hope there won't be a need for another event like this, I wouldn't mind it again either.

Only one hand in left...

...until I finish university. It is rather daunting. I'm not sure what I am going to afterwards. I want to experience things and travel and live abroad and learn a language or two and take pictures of it before I settle into working full time. I also want 2010 to be my year of 'why not?' instead 'why?'. Of course I won't do things that seem dangerous, but I want to start doing new and different things. Things that I think will help me learn something about myself. I just want to take advantages of all the opportunities available to me. I have also been trying to take some photos and upload them my flickr everyday just to get in the habit of taking and editing photos the same day. But as I'm going to be home and away from my mac thats not going to be possible for a while. So there maybe a mega upload when I get back!! But first I am going home for two weeks to my mom's. Oh and I am also going to the mass photo gathering tomorrow at noon. There should be some interesting photos from there. I will (hopefully) be able to tweet it while there and write about it here afterwards. Depends on money and the capabilities of my old old laptop at home.
